DESCRIPTION:2016 Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday\n\nThe City of Lebanon and the City Council have elected to participate along with the State of Missouri to exempt local and state sales tax on retail sales of qualified Energy Star certified new appliances up to $1\,500 per appliance. This holiday will be held April 19-25. Following are examples of Energy Star appliance qualified for the sales tax holiday: \n\nClothes Washer\, Clothes Dryer\, Water Heater\, Trash Compactor\, Dishwasher\, Conventional Oven\, Range\, Stove\, Air Conditioner\, Furnace\, Refrigerator\, Freezer\, and Heat Pump.\n\nThe Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce wants to thank the Lebanon City Council and the City of Lebanon for choosing to participate in the sales tax holiday to encourage energy savings and to promote business activity in our community.
