DESCRIPTION:Lebanon Red Cross Shelter Management Class\n\nShelter Management is an instructor-led\, basic level course that introduces the roles\, responsibilities and tasks of the shelter manager. Using the Sheltering Handbook\, participants will work through a case study that takes them through four of the six phases of the Sheltering Cycle: Opening\, Organizing\, Operating and Closing. The purpose of this course is to prepare participants to effectively operate a shelter facility that provides disaster services in a safe environment for its residents and workers.\n\nTo Register Online on Volunteer Connection:\n\n\n	Go to http://volunteerconnection.redcross.org\n	Type your user name and password (Contact Volunteer Services to get the your user information)\n	Scroll over the "My Shifts" tab and click "Course Registration" in the drop-down menu\n	Find the class you would like to take and click "Sign Up".\n	Click "Register Now" on the next screen and you are registered!
